4/7/03 - Assignment due 4/7/03 - use PowerPoint to prepare a short slide show to present your answer to the last question on the test - use data from your summary sheet and the Excel files you prepared for the test.  Place your PPT files on a floppy and be prepared to present your findings and conclusions in class on the April 7th.

2/24/03- Use the ARJIS.ORG web site to collect crime stats for July 2001 - July 2002.   Create a Summary totals only report at the neighborhood level for San Diego.  Then go to SANDAG.ORG to collect population, housing and employment and economic data for San Diego SPA's for the 2000 (year).  Save all your data to a DBF file - same as process we worked on in class. You'll need to sum up some of the neighborhoods in the crime data to match the SPA's.   Have this data ready to work with by 3/10.
